As a prospective client you agree to:

    1. Sign the confidentiality statement allowing your counsellor to share personal information with other professionals such as doctors, hospitals and police, should the need arise. Your counsellor will only look to share this information if they feel that you are at risk of harming yourself or others. They will endeavour to discuss the matter with you before taking any steps.
    2. As a client you will connect through Zoom for your designated time slot for the session each week. Should you be unable to do this, you would be required to let your counsellor know as soon as possible via e-mail or telephone contact. This is required  to be done at least twenty four hours before the session time. Otherwise the session will become chargeable.
    3. a) You agree to accept responsibility for having access to Zoom and any requirements that go with gaining access via your personal computer (i.e. minimum download speed and spec) and any technical aspects required to gain access. We will not be held responsible for the breakdown of your equipment or problems with your internet access due to your internet service provider which result in your session not taking place.
      b) You will need to be in a private space where you will not be disturbed during your session.
    4. You will keep your payments up to date and if you have any queries regarding charges, you will discuss this with your counsellor.
    5. Any sessions that were not conducted at the booked time will not be refunded unless this is deemed to be the fault of the counsellor.
    6. OnScreen Counselling is not appropriate if you are self harming or if you are contemplating suicide. Psychiatric diagnoses that require a multi-disciplinary approach such as psychosis are also not suitable.

OnScreen Counselling requires all of its therapists to be qualified and insured and each member holds individual indemnity insurance. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you accept that OSC Ltd has no liability for the therapeutic interventions made through this site.
